Trader Joe’s Viral Lobster Pasta — But Make It Legendary

The internet made it famous, Twice Stolen Spice made it unforgettable. Creamy, buttery lobster pasta with bold flavor that hits just right — ready in under 20 minutes. 


Tools

  • Large chef knife 

  • Cutting board or mat

  • Measuring spoon & cups

  • Cast iron or non-stick saute pan

Ingredients

Makes 6-8 servings

  • pasta of your choice

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1 16 oz. container Trader Joe's lobster bisque

  • 1 16 oz. package Trader Joe's frozen langostino tails, thawed and cut into small pieces (notes 1 & 2)

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese + more for serving

  • fresh basil, optional for serving

  • olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Twice Stolen Spice™

Directions

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes

  • In a large pot of boiling water, cook pasta to al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • While the pasta is cooking, heat a little olive oil in a large skillet. Add the onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, until soft. Then, add langostino and cook through for about 2-3 minutes.

  • Add the lobster bisque and cherry tomatoes. Stir, and cook until heated through.

  • Add your cooked pasta. Toss until the pasta is well-coated with the sauce.

  • Add in the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and stir. Serve right away, garnishing with fresh basil and more Parm, if needed. (note 3)

Notes

  1. You can substitute frozen shrimp

  2. The Langostino I got was from Aldi, not Trader Joe's

  3. More cheese is always needed.
